Jessie J: ''The Voice' chairs aren't suitable for females... or Will.i.Am'

Vocal sensation Jessie J has admitted that as a woman she finds the swivelling chairs featured on 'The Voice' to be really uncomfortable.

Speaking to the Radio Times about her coaching position on the popular show, the 'Price Tag' hitmaker explained that the seats are too high for her and she also noticed that fellow panelist Will.i.Am struggles with the same problem because he's quite short:

"Honestly, as a girl, it's not the most comfortable chair. While all the guys can sit back and look relaxed, I either have to sit really upright and forward, or lean to the side. I feel so little in that chair, but at least my feet touch the ground... [fellow judge] Will [I.Am's] don't!"

She added that because she's the only female on the panel she's often slapped with the 'diva' tag, but it comes with the territory so she just ignores it: "I don't think there's ever been any show on TV where a girl hasn't had the diva stamp. I see it as some sort of compliment because the original divas were the Shirley Basseys, the Whitney Houstons."

"I would never ever want anyone to think that's how I am. Because I'm not. I'm the complete opposite. I have eight people in my team – not 50, which is what was said in the papers. But you can't win... I've realised that it happens to women."

The new series of 'The Voice' is set to begin this coming Saturday, March 30, on BBC 1.

JLS love "hazardous" female fans

JLS still get excited by the female attention they receive, even though it sometimes becomes a "health and safety hazard".

The four piece - comprising Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, Marvin Humes and J.B. Gill - rose to stardom after finishing in runners-up position on The X Factor in 2008.

The handsome group have since gained a legion of admiring female followers, who they still greatly appreciate to this day.

Speaking to Closer magazine, Merrygold laughed: "Of course! When we visited Ireland, we had about 100 girls climbing up and down our tour bus trying to get in. We were told not to get out because it would become a health and safety hazard!"

JLS have been working together for five years, and have joked about arguments amongst them.

Williams quipped: "It's horrendous! I can't stand them. Aston eats all the food on out tour bus!" before Humes added: "Truthfully, we all get on really well because we've got similar goals and we've all kept out feet firmly on the ground.

He continued: "There aren't any divas in the band!"

Tish Cyrus on Miley's dog heartbreak: 'Another family pet caused Lila's death'

Last week, singer and actress Miley Cyrus revealed her heartbreak over the death of her pet dog Lila (shown below) and her mother has now explained what happened.

In a post uploaded to her blog, Tish Cyrus admitted that the adorable pup tragically died as a result of one of the other household's pets "grabbing" it:

"As for Miley, its been a really tough week. As you all know her beloved baby girl Lila passed away. Everyone has been so precious and so supportive of her and I love you all so much for that. Miley loved Lila more than anyone can imagine.”

“The way that Lila was taken from her was beyond terrible. Sometimes things happen that we just can't understand. Miley still isn't ready to talk about it, but I thought you guys should know what happened."

Referring to the incident specifically, Tish told readers that the family's bulldog, named Ziggy (pictured above left), had caused Lila harm that she was simply unable to recover from:

"For some unknown reason, Ziggy grabbed Lila. Not really sure if she was playing or what? She grabbed her in just the wrong spot and Lila didn't survive. Please understand that Miley isn't ready to talk about this and we dont think Ziggy is a mean dog (sic)."

Cyrus added that Ziggy has since been rehomed.

A unique doll of Adam Lambert that is being auctioned for charity has smashed its expected price.

As previously reported, a special figure was recently made by Mattel designer Carlyle Nuera for an auction on website charitybuzz.

The auction is due to end on Tuesday (December 18) and its current value today (December 17) of $4,250 has far exceeded its guide price of $2,000.

The doll is based on his recent performances with iconic band Queen and it features a real leather jacket.

Information on the auction's webpage reads: "Inspired by Adam's performance with Queen at London's Hammersmith Apollo, Mattel designer Carlyle Nuera meticulously recreated every detail of Adam’s concert look, right down to the spiked epaulettes on his leather jacket! Yes, Adam doll is wearing a real leather jacket; leather-look pants, gloves and boots are all rock-star worthy!"

It continues: "The Adam Lambert doll features a hand-painted face in Adam's likeness and his signature tousled hairstyle. His mic is fully embellished with Swarovski crystals. Your original one-of-a-kind collectible comes with a certificate of authenticity, a rockin' display case, the bejeweled mic and mic stand shown."

'Never Close Our Eyes' sensation Adam Lambert has expressed his excitement ahead of the weekend's VH1 Divas concert and admitted that he's hoping for "a little drama".

The singer and former American Idol runner up is not only hosting the event, but will be performing at it as well and he told VH1's Big Morning Buzz that because of the other big names involved, such as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Kelly Clarkson, he's hoping for some great backstage gossip:

"I hope so! And if there is, I'm going to gossip about it! I hope there's a little drama. I like when people get along, but..."

Meanwhile, Lambert recently sat down for an interview with Wendy Williams and talked about the future, and, in particular, marriage: "The way I look at it is everybody should have the right to get married, if they so choose. Right now, I’m not really thinking about marriage."

"When I grew up, I didn’t ever think marriage was even something that would be part of my reality. Now that, that’s something new and that’s becoming totally accepted, it’s a different world."
