About Company

September 2010 saw the launch of Cox Cookies & Cake, the new Soho bakery from renowned shoe designer Patrick Cox.

The inspiration behind Patrick’s move from the world of fashion to food lies with his mother and childhood memories from his home in Canada. His mother Maureen used to bake with Patrick every Saturday morning - she cooked and he licked the bowls. Since leaving Canada for London 25 years ago, Maureen has continued to send him large parcels of baked goodies, maintaining Patrick’s passion for baked treats. Many of Maureen’s special recipes feature on the menu at Cox Cookies & Cake, including her fabulous Nanaimo Bars made from coconut chocolate biscuit with a layer of custard vanilla butter cream coated in melted dark chocolate.

With Cox Cookies & Cake, Patrick has realised a 10-year-old dream and has created a fun, new, sexy chic bakery offer for Londoners with an indulgent and deliciously quirky repertoire of cookies, cakes and bars that have an emphasis on quality rather than novelty.

From the innovative cupcake decorations to the stylish packaging, Cox has always been passionate about design. His creative vision for Cox Cookies & Cake is a smart, sexy amalgam of honourable London traditions: the corner cake shop and the Soho hotspot, with a glossy black floor and shimmering disco-inspired walls.

Straddling the worlds of old and new Soho, suggestive and sweet, Cox Cookies & Cake is the place to go for a sensational culinary experience.
