Oxford Style was formed by singer / songwriter Paul Nicholson after he could no longer contain his loathing for himself and humanity. Oxford Style combine melodic pop, piano-led cabaret and heavy guitar riffs to create music that is both elegant and aggressive. All of this combined with a pinch of British humour and, of course... style.

“Salo” is Oxford Style’s debut single, which is accompanied by one of a series of self- produced videos to be released throughout 2014. The Salo video has already premiered on Artrocker with an extremely supportive review.

“Salo' is the debut single for Oxford Style, who list Roxy Music and Suede among their influences, these both shine through in the track. Sounding like the entirety of The Young Knives back catalogue compressed into five minutes and eight seconds, 'Salo' is a very solid debut.
