Motorcycle Display Team are a London based pop-rock trio: Steve Hinds (lead vocals, guitar) , Matt Eyre (bass) and Morgan Condon (drums). “Letters Of Last Resort” is their brand new and much-anticipated five track EP, this follows on from the success of their debut album ‘Captatio Benevolentiae’ both which were produced by Cesar Lavin (Modest Mouse, White Lies, Guillemots). This success included Absolute Radios “ Unsigned Band Of The Week”, BBC 6 music Introducing, XFM, BBC London 94.9, Music Week, Right Chord Music’s “Band Of The Week”, Emerging Icons, God Is In The TV and Room Thirteen coverage.

M.D.T combine well crafted pop songs, along with soaring vocals, melodic hooks, a tight rhythmic section and a rock direction. Laden with themes of apocalypse, paranoia, rejection and anxiety, this new EP showcases a darker heavier side to the band. The video for “Letters Of Last Resort” is about the four identically worded handwritten letters that each new UK Prime Minister must write when taking up office. These private letters are addressed to the UK captains of the four ballistic missile submarines with unknown given orders. The letters are currently unopened in the safes of each captain's submarine quarters only to be opened in the event of the emergency of the British Government being overthrown.

M.D.T are a band you’ve got to see live recently reaching the final of London's Hard Rock Cafe competition. Steve Hinds is a powerful and charismatic vocalist, drawing comparisons with such greats as Scott Walker, Jeff Buckley and David Bowie. Matt and Morgan are one of the tightest rhythm sections you’ll witness. The sheer energy of their live shows has earned them a deservedly amazing reputation. To support the release, the band will be touring the UK extensively over 2015, including slots supporting the likes of The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and My Life Story. To top that the band have had illustrious residencies in the renowned ‘Dublin Castle’ and The New Cross Inn in London and have significant national radio play in the UK, Ireland and beyond.
