Jared Leto has reached out to Taylor Swift and her fans after a video emerged of him insulting her.

A video was uploaded online recently by TMZ of the singer listening to some of Swift's music.

His opinions are varied, but the clip ends with Leto saying:

"I mean, f*ck her, I don’t give a f*ck about her. It’s whatever works best for us."

Speaking on Twitter on Monday (December 7), the actor and musician apologised for causing any offence.

He wrote: "The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible.

"If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies."

Among the tracks Leto was more positive about, however, was Swift's hit single 'Blank Space'.
