50 Cent on Justin Bieber's struggles: 'It's like Michael Jackson issues'

'In Da Club' hitmaker 50 Cent has revealed that Justin Bieber's issues with fame remind him of the troubles that the late Michael Jackson faced.

During an interview on U.S. chat show The Talk, Sharon Osbourne asked how Bieber was doing and 50 Cent replied:

"He's going through those phases, he's growing up. It's like Michael Jackson issues. He's been a star for a long time." He added: "Everybody gets a little tougher when I’m around. You see him putting champagne on people, it's like, 'Get outta here!'"

DJ and producer Diplo, meanwhile, recently praised Bieber and explained that working with him on their collaborative tracks 'Cold Water' and 'Where Are You Now' were transformative experiences:

"When we did “Where Are Ü Now?” it was two years ago and I feel like that came out of nowhere. It was such a weird thing and such a weird record it didn't really pick up steam for a couple months. It really helped to reinvent as much as me and Skillex as much as Justin it was just a good phenomenon I was so happy to be a part of it."

"This record has a lot of moving parts Ed Sheeran helped write the record with us, Benny Blanco and they’ve also had a big hit with Justin last year. It’s like a big family we all do it together. We’re all just people that worked together on the last year and then MØ came in because we love her so much we just want to put her on as many records on the new Major Lazer album as possible."
