5 Seconds of Summer have expressed their excitement at heading out on tour with One Direction.

The Australian group are the warm up act on the 'Kiss You' lads' Where We Are Europe and North America tours.

The show is due to roll into Dublin for three dates from Friday (May 24) and it seems the excitement is building.

5 Seconds of Summer posted on Twitter: "Can't wait for this weekend...It's going to be mental, it all kicks off in Dublin."

The tour will then travel to the UK before heading to mainland Europe.

5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile have previously supported One Direction on tour and they have struck up a strong bond.
