5 Seconds of Summer have admitted their penchant for getting naked.

The band are no strangers to going topless or showing off a bit of skin in amusing snaps that usually end up online.

Speaking about their seeming love of stripping off, Michael Clifford told The Hits:

"The nakedness gets pretty bad…if you can’t be naked what can you be? The words to live by."

Talking meanwhile about whether bandmate Calum Hood wears thongs on stage, the guitarist said:

"I can’t confirm or deny, I think he is a free man and he does what he pleases…I’d be quite scared if he does own a thong.

"I think it would be quite breezy and feel quite nice. It might just be band thing now - we all play with thongs on!"
