5 Seconds of Summer: 'We’d love to make a film'

5 Seconds of Summer have revealed their desire to make a movie.

The boyband have been linked with making a film after One Direction successfully made the transition to the big screen in 2013 with the documentary movie 'This Is Us'.

Speaking to the Daily Star, it seems singer Luke Hemmings is keen on the idea, with the Australian saying that shooting their recent video for 'Don't Stop' got them in the movie mood.

He said: "We'd love to make a film. To be honest we shot so much in those two days making our vid we could’ve made a feature film out of it already."

Talk of a flick may be premature, however, considering the quartet haven't even released their debut album yet.

Their self-titled record is due to be unleashed in the UK on June 30.
