5SOS on their debut album: 'We worked on it with our childhood heroes so can't wait to share it'

Australia's very own 5 Seconds Of Summer have opened up about their forthcoming debut studio album and admitted that they had a dream team to work with so it's a very special release for them.

Speaking to Capital FM's showbiz reporter, the boys admitted that it's something they're really proud of and they hope fans will feel the same way about it:

"Dude we've worked on it for two years. We really hope the fans love it, everyone loves it. Some people might hate it, doesn't matter! We're really proud of it and we can't wait to show the world what we've been working on."

The 'She Looks So Perfect' heartthrobs went onto add that it's especially exciting because they worked on the record with some of their 'childhood heroes':

"It's been totally good to work with some of our inspirations and stuff like that. Some of our like childhood heroes. The Madden brothers, we're just working with John Feldmann every day, like he's produced all of our favourite bands, like Good Charlotte and stuff like that. It's cool."

Earlier today (June 19), 5SOS confirmed details of a London-based album signing and they will appear in store at HMV on 363 Oxford Street on July 1.
