5 Seconds Of Summer on dating fans: 'If they like our band that's a plus!'

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that they would all consider dating fans and it's not something that would deter them from being interested in someone.

Member Calum Hood recently told a Swedish reporter: "Yeah, for sure. If they like the band then it's a plus!" Luke Hemmings then piped up and admitted: "I've thought about this... agreed!"

The group's guitarist Michael Clifford added that he would also be happy to get romantically involved with someone who was familiar with 5SOS's music: "They're not like... a fan is just someone who likes a band, they're not, like, a different person, you know?"

Back in May, the boys shared details of the qualities they look for in potential girlfriends and Hood explained that 'quirkiness' is appealing to him: "I like a girl who’s quirky, funny and slightly weird. We’re weird guys so it needs to be balanced out.”

Clifford, meanwhile, noted that he often wonders if he has met the perfect girl and just hasn't realised it yet: "My dream girl would be funny, weird and caring! I don’t know if I’ve met her yet, but then again, maybe I have and just haven’t known it.”
