During a recent interview with Sugarscape, the 5 Seconds Of Summer boys opened up about their ideal first dates and potential chat-up lines they might use to secure them, and came up with some very unusual suggestions. 

When asked what their ideal first date would be, the lads had very different ideas and guitarist Michael Clifford had the most normal vision for his: "I would go... we went to the movies and then had dinner. That's my boring date." 

Drummer Ashton Irwin's was far more elaborate: "We went to a sauna and it was in the Himalayas. Stuff got weird... how did we end up here? I don't know."

The conversation then moved to chat up lines with member Luke Hemmings making a confused noise for a while before admitting he might say, "you look great... you dance hot." Clifford said: "I'm going to go with... I've got some really bad ones. I would say, 'you're pretty'."

Irwin then added: "Are you a volcano? Because I lava you." After the boys discussed their chat-up techniques for a while, Clifford piped up with an alternative one, which caused the other heartthrobs to react strongly to its raunchy nature: "Let's play Titanic. You be an iceberg and I'll go down!"
