5 Seconds of Summer have admitted that it is "crazy" they are playing this year's iTunes Festival.

The annual event is returning once again to the London Roundhouse in September for 30 days of live music.

The Australians will play on one of the nights and they took to Twitter to express their excitement at the news.

They said: "Excited to announce were playing the #iTunesFestival on Sep 4 :) crazy to play the roundhouse!"

Other names due to play the iTunes Festival include Pharrell Williams, Kylie Minogue, Kasabian and Beck.
