5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin has revealed his desire to try acting again in future.

The Australian told We Love Pop magazine that he dabbled in acting as a child before turning to music.

It seems Irwin is ready to try out some roles in the future, with the drummer saying:

"I was acting for years before the band so I would like to get into that again. I was in a few things, I'm not going to admit what they were, but it was fun and I had a good time."

Irwin added that he is too busy at the moment to find a partner, with touring schedules getting the better of him.

He said: "I'm single right now, but I think anyone would find it hard if they were in a different country every day. I only spent two weeks at home last year and it's really hard to find someone when you move around so much."
