5 Seconds of Summer's Calum Hood admits teacher crush

5 Seconds of Summer star Calum Hood has revealed that he still has a crush on a school teacher.

The bassist is currently a heartthrob to millions of fans across the globe, but it seems he still has eyes for an old teacher.

He took to Twitter on Tuesday (September 23) to write: "I still to this day have a crush on my year 2 teacher miss Willis. It's been twelve years."

The Australians meanwhile recently spoke of their desire to educate some of their pop-leaning fans on the talents of bands like of Jet and Silverchair.

Ashton Irwin said: "We get surprised when people don't know guys like Dave Grohl [...] old Australian bands are great, like Jet and The Living End. There's old bands like that we grew up with... we've been listening to a lot of Australian bands like that - and Silverchair. We have a weird music taste, but it's cool we can introduce those bands to our fans."
