5SOS's Calum Hood describes the perfect kiss

Australian heartthrob Calum Hood, of 5 Seconds Of Summer fame, has revealed that the perfect kiss would be longer than an innocent peck, but shorter than a full-on make out session.

During a new interview with We Love Pop magazine, the 'Good Girls' star explained that you also have to gauge the situation as it unfolds and just go with the moment:

“I would say you would both normally know how long to go for. I haven’t timed it but I would say about seven seconds.”

In 5SOS's autobiography, 'Let's Make A Band', Hood opened up about the direction his life ended up taking and admitted that he initially had a passion that was very different to music: "The love of rock and punk music brought Michael, Luke, Ashton and me together when we were at school, but when I was younger my life could have gone one of two ways. I really loved football and I wanted to become professional."

The band, meanwhile, also just confirmed that on Wednesday, November 5 they will return to the USA for a special live performance on Ellen DeGeneres' chat show. They tweeted: "We're performing on @TheEllenShow next Wednesday!"
