5 Seconds of Summer are currently winning the MTV EMAs Artist on the Rise poll.

The music awards ceremony is asking fans to vote via hashtags for who they think is the top rising music act.

The vote is US based and the results of the poll will be announced during the US broadcast of the MTV EMAs, which are taking place in Glasgow on Sunday (November 9).

At the time of writing, 5 Seconds of Summer are leading the poll with over 3.5 million votes.

However, US girl group Fifth Harmony are a close second.

Nick Jonas - who Pressparty recently caught up with for a chat - is long way off in third with less than 300,000 votes.
