5 Seconds of Summer have uploaded a behind the scenes look at a recent book signing.

The Australians - minus guitarist Michael Clifford, who couldn't travel to the UK after losing his passport - visited fans in Liverpool in December.

They signed copies of their book Hey, Let's Make A Band and greeted their devotees.

5 Seconds of Summer have now uploaded a video from the day to YouTube and it sees fans meet their idols.

The band meanwhile were nominated for the International Group Brit Award on Thursday (January 15).

However, they will need to fight off the likes of Foo Fighters and The Black Keys to win.

This year's Brit Awards are taking place at London's O2 Arena on February 25.
