Aussie pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer are set to have another incredible year and drummer Ashton Irwin has revealed that he can't wait for the things they have planned to take place. 

Member Ashton Irwin posted a message on his official Twitter page this afternoon (February 13) and explained that he can't wait for the upcoming events scheduled because they are going to be amazing:

"Crazy too think what the future holds, the things we know are going to happen like the tour! And all of the unexpected! You guys ready?!"

The band, meanwhile, have been writing new material for their upcoming second album and they recently wrote with Deryck Whibley of Sum 41 fame. The session left heartthrob Michael Clifford feeling very enthusiastic about the new music and he told his fans: "Wrote two of my favourite songs I've written with @Calum5SOS @MisterMikeGreen and deryck from @Sum41 today."

5SOS will support One Direction on tour for five dates that will take place between February 25 and March 2 in Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for the concerts are on sale now.
