All Time Low's Alex praises 5SOS's Ashton

Australian heartthrobs 5 Seconds Of Summer have taken to their individual Twitter accounts to show support for All Time Low, who just released their new album 'Future Hearts'.

Drummer Ashton Irwin shared a link to the band's record and tweeted: "New All Time Low album!!! Take a listen with ya ear holes!" Michael Clifford posted a similar message and so did bass player Calum Hood.

Upon seeing the praise, All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth publicly replied to Irwin and confessed that he's heard great things about his drum lines on 5SOS's forthcoming new album: "Thanks my dude. Heard you've been ripping your new drum parts."

Back in February, there were rumours that suggested 5SOS had written some material with All Time Low for 'Future Hearts', but Gaskarth confirmed that was false:

"I can deny they wrote with us. Yeah, I saw that the Wikipedia page for 'Future Hearts', someone had submitted that they had written on the album, but no, we didn't do any writing together unfortunately. Wikipedia is very weird in that way, because people take it as fact and it's like, no someone just wrote that because they felt like that."

He added: "I think I will probably do some more work in the future with 5 Seconds guys. I definitely plan to write with them again if I can."
