5SOS are 'training' on tour: 'We're trying to stay healthy'

Aussie pop-punk heroes 5 Seconds Of Summer are currently ploughing through the dates of their extensive Rock Out With Your Socks Out world tour and have given fans an insight into what a day on the road with them is like.

They're set to resume the jaunt on July 17 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and they recently told Nova 96.9 Smallzy's show that while it's a lot of fun, touring is genuinely exhausting:

"It is our 63rd day on tour... on the road. It has been great. It has been the best experience of our lives so far. It was always the dream. It's tiring... you get very tired and Calum smells all the time. 63 days on tour, 63 days without a shower!"

Ashton Irwin, who drums for the band, added: "A day in the life kind of consists of... we wake up, we come to the venue, we train... we all come to this training thing as we're trying to stay healthy. Michael lifts!"

The North American leg of their ROWYSO tour is due to take place on 13 September 2015 at the Coral Sky Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach.
