5 Seconds of Summer have premiered the lyric video for their new single.

The Australians are releasing the track 'She's Kinda Hot' as the first song from their upcoming second album.

It has been released worldwide today (July 17) as fans lap up the tune.

A lyric video has now been uploaded to the band's Vevo page.

Drummer Ashton Irwin recently told The Sun about their new single:

“It’s not just about a girl being hot - it couldn’t be less about that.

"It’s the furthest away from that. It opens up the campaign for us and a deep insight what to expect from our album.”

5 Seconds of Summer's upcoming album does yet not have a release date, but it is expected to land later this year.
