UK based radio station BBC Radio 1 has made 5 Seconds Of Summer's new single, 'She's Kinda Hot', its Track of the Day. 

Tweeting about the song this morning (July 19), the radio station's account asked: "Our #TrackOfTheDay today is from @5SOS with 'She's Kinda Hot'. What do you think of this one?"

The band played a gig last night at Chula Vista's Sleep Train Amphitheatre in California and drummer Ashton Irwin took to his official Twitter page a few hours ago to tell fans that he was so impressed by how many people in the crowd already knew the words: "Can't believe how many of you were SCREAMING she's kinda hot tonight... Insanity, I LOVE IT!!!"

5SOS's guitarist, Michael Clifford, recently told the Rolling Stone that he thinks their new cut has a great message and he hopes that fans can relate to it: "I think the song's got a really cool message. It's like, 'Yeah we're screwed up kids, but we're going to be okay.'"

All Time Low's drummer, Rian Dawson, also posted a message about 'She's Kinda Hot' and praised the song, writing: "Absolutely loving the new 5SOS track. Well done gentlemen, can’t wait for more. @Ashton5SOS I’m gonna kick you off and play it live once."
