5SOS on tour bus habits, their new songs, and dream collaborations

Aussie pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer are currently on their Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour in North America, but they took time out from their schedule to chat to one of their home country's breakfast shows about their amazing career to date.

During a new interview with Sunrise, the heartthrobs opened up on a variety topics from gross tourbus habits to their new songs, and to their dream collaborators.

Luke Hemmings revealed that he knows who he would choose for the ultimate collaboration: "I think I'd love to collaborate with Green Day... that would be very cool. They're one of our favourite bands."

Ashton Irwin was then asked to reveal the things that annoy him the most about the other lads and quickly answered: "Pet peeves... Michael's farts smell like poppadoms and it's really weird to me. He doesn't even eat poppadoms."

Guitarist Michael Clifford also opened up about his recent on-stage accident in London when he wandered into a huge flame and burned himself: "It was a bit of a scare, but it's healed up really well and I'm really good. I'm more worried about the fact that I have sticky hands right now. I have to wash my hands."

Bassist Calum Hood went onto talk about their new EP for 'She's Kinda Hot', which features some new songs called 'Broken Pieces' and 'Lost in Reality':

"We wrote both those songs with a man called Mike Green... we really love those songs and you can pre-order them actually on August 28. We just wanted to release as much music as we could for the fans and for ourselves - because we really love these songs."
