5SOS Talk About The New Broken Scene: “It's a whole movement”

Australian pop-punk quartet 5 Seconds Of Summer have spoken about The New Broken Scene and explained that it's a movement that will hopefully inspire positivity.

During a new interview with Notion magazine, the lads opened up about deciding to call their fanbase The New Broken Scene and admitted that they wanted a name that wasn't 'lame':

"That came about because everyone was naming their fan bases and we found it a little lame, in all honesty. There's more to our band, you know. We're here to enforce positivity and a light into our fans' lives, so the idea of the 'new broken scene' is sort of a movement that's about more than just music - it's saying we're all in this together, you know."

The heartthrobs, meanwhile, will unveil their highly anticipated new studio album Sounds Good Feels Good this fall and have announced details of a Target exclusive edition that features two additional songs
