5 Seconds of Summer have already extended their 2016 UK and Ireland tour - just minutes after tickets went on sale.

The Australians are due to bring their new Sounds Live Feels Live show to the countries in the spring.

Tickets for the arena gigs went on sale this morning (October 16) at 9am , but an extra date has already been added as a result of demand.

5 Seconds of Summer will now call at the 3Arena in Dublin for a second night on April 27, with tickets on sale now.

The full tour, which comes in support of the band's upcoming second album 'Sounds Good Feels Good', is now as follows:

• April 7 - London O2 Arena
• April 8 - London O2 Arena
• April 11 - Leeds first direct Arena
• April 12 - Nottingham Capital FM Arena
• April 14 - Birmingham Genting Arena
• April 18 - Newcastle Metro Radio Arena
• April 19 - Glasgow SSE Hydro
• April 22 - Manchester Arena
• April 25 - Belfast SSE Arena Belfast
• April 26 - Dublin 3Arena
• April 27 - Dublin 3Arena
