Australian pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer have millions of dedicated fans but sometimes these followers go above and beyond to try and meet their favourite boys. 

Speaking to Free Radio recently, Michael Clifford recalled one of the craziest fan experiences they've had to date: 

“I have one that was funny, it was somewhere across America and it was the second half of the leg and we were backstage."

"We came off for the encore and we were standing back there, we were all getting ready to go back on and there was just this girl standing there, like standing next to us, in our group. Everyone was kind of confused because it was like how did you get here?"

Ashton Irwin then added: “She was acting like she worked with us, that was the thing and if you act like you have a purpose backstage no one’s going to question you.”

Clifford, who plays guitar in the band, concluded: “Apparently what she did was, you know there’s, on the right hand and left hand side (of the stage), there’s big railings, she jumped over the railing, just walked backstage and just walked in.”
