5SOS: 'We hope this means more to you than just another album'

5 Seconds Of Summer are currently enjoying phenomenal commercial success with their second album 'Sounds Good Feels Good' and bassist Calum Hood posted a video to fans this morning (November 3) thanking them for the amazing support

The rocker admitted that he's blown away by the reaction to the record and he hopes it really touches everyone who listens to it:

"I just found out that 'Sounds Good Feels Good' went to No.1 in 10 countries. I want to really thank you guys for everything you've done. If you've picked up a copy I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, and thank you. I really hope this means more to you than just another album because it means that to me. I love you guys wholeheartedly and I can't wait to make the next one."

Producer John Feldmann, who worked on the album with the lads, told the Los Angeles Times that their main goal was to 'make a statement' with 'Sounds Good Feels Good', which they appear to have done: "These guys wanted to make a statement with this record. It's a rock record with guitars and drums and an actual orchestra. We kept everything as real as possible — playing everything, not drawing the sounds on a screen."
