5SOS star Michael Clifford: 'I don't think we're famous'

5 Seconds of Summer's Michael Clifford doesn't think the band are "famous".

The Australian group have two No.1 albums to their name, as well as millions of adoring fans.

However, guitarist Clifford admits he doesn't see the quartet as being famous.

He told Digital Spy: "I don't think we're famous. We get to do some cool opportunities.

"Just getting to play live to people who want good music and getting to give it to them [is a perk]."

Speaking about life as a professional musician, guitarist and vocalist Luke Hemmings said:

"I kind of like being in one place for a certain amount of time. That's something I struggle with."

Clifford added: "[I miss] just not having someone who tells me what to do for the next 12 hours, 36 minutes."

5 Seconds of Summer were speaking at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on Sunday (November 8).

However, Clifford made headlines for falling off the stage while performing at the Wembley Arena event.

The band are currently promoting their new album 'Sounds Good Feels Good'.
