Aussie pop-punk band 5 Seconds Of Summer have revealed that they don't bother getting each other gifts for Christmas because it's too much commitment and hassle. 

During a new interview with People, they explained that it's simply because if they start buying each other presents they have to maintain it year round for birthdays and other celebrations: 

"We don't want to start the trend. Because if we start the trend, then we have to do birthdays, Christmases – it's better to go without responsibility." 

They were also asked to describe the best thing about 2015 and admitted that getting to live together in a house while recording their latest album, 'Sounds Good Feels Good', was nothing short of an amazing experience:

"We all lived together at the beginning of the year in a house in L.A. and we all just kind of bonded and made an album together and that was probably the best part. We were doing what we were passionate about."
