After 5SOS's much-talked about interview with the Rolling Stone, the magazine unleashed a follow-up segment entitled '21 Things You Learn Hanging Out With 5 Seconds Of Summer' and one of the stories involved a rather tense moment with songstress Halsey. 

Journalist Patrick Doyle recalled accompanying 5SOS to see one of Halsey's recent concerts and explained that the rising star hit out at celebrities in the VIP section of the venue, which is where he spent the night with the band, seemed uninterested in her performance: 

“In L.A., the group went out to see the rising singer play a show at L.A.’s Fonda Theatre. At one point, Halsey lashed out at too-cool music industry people in the V.I.P. section who weren’t participating, suggesting they ‘get the f**k out.'” 

'She's Kinda Hot' heartthrob Ashton Irwin (pictured above left with Halsey) addressed the awkward incident in the Rolling Stone's follow-up feature and admitted that it was "weird" and made both him and his bandmates feel uncomfortable:

"That felt weird to us, because we’re on the same record label. I just felt bad. I’m like, ‘These people worked so f*****g hard for you. They invest so much money into getting you out here, they release your music and work hard to get you on the radio. They pay for your private jet to get to the f*****g gig from New York. You gotta work well with these people!'”
