5 Seconds of Summer are inching ever closer to the start of their new world tour.

The band confirmed on Twitter overnight that they have finished rehearsing for their Sounds Live Feels Live tour.

The group are now heading to Japan ahead of their first show in Nagoya on January 19.

The tour comes in support of 5 Seconds of Summer's second album 'Sounds Good Feels Good'.

The record topped charts across the globe when it was released last year.

The band will play in North America and Europe following their stint in Asia.

Their schedule is set to be wrapped up in their native Australia in September and October.
