5 Seconds of Summer have shared an amusing photo of themselves going to a nightclub in Japan.

The band are currently in the country on the first leg of their Sounds Live Feels Live tour.

It seems they have been enjoying the nightlife in capital city Tokyo.

Guitarist Michael Clifford uploaded a photo to Twitter of the group in a club while wearing comical costumes.

He said: "Clubbing with 5SOS kinda looks like this. Tokyo, Japan."

Next up for the Australians is a date at Tokyo's iconic Budokan venue on Tuesday (February 23).

They will then head to China.
