5SOS reveal the most important lesson they've learned so far

During a new chat with Young Post, frontman Luke Hemmings explained that the most important lesson he has learned from bands he looked up to is that you should always do what you can to follow your plans through.

Referring to Good Charlotte, who he cites as a big inspiration, Hemmings said:

"They’re four dudes from a small town who stuck to their guns and became huge. That’s what stuck with me the most."

When asked what the secret is to their success, the 'Amnesia' heartthrob confessed that they simply took that ideology on board: "We stuck to our guns."

He went onto add that he and the other 5SOS lads never expected to enjoy success on such a global scale: "When we started going on tour in Sydney we never expected we’d be able to play at all these places around the world. We were very confident in ourselves and knew we had something special, but I don’t think we knew how big we could make it. It blows my mind."
