5SOS still waiting for Jason Derulo to respond to Twitter DM

Five Seconds of Summer have uploaded a screenshot of an aborted Twitter direct message stream with Jason Derulo (see below).

On July 17 2014 at 3.33am, Derulo reached out to the band with a 'Hey!' sent via a direct message. The band replied within half an hour with 'Hey man! Whatsup?'

Derulo did not reply, so the band sent another DM recently saying: 'Are you still there.'

Calum Hood told Asia Pop 40:

"I remember the morning you DM’d me. It was a cold London morning and I was walking into the van and I saw your DM and it just brightened my day.

“It just hurts that you haven’t replied.”

Michael Clifford added: “I’m sorry. Calum’s my best friend and I just want to let you know, Jason, that Calum’s waited every day for the past two years. He’s looked at his phone every day and he hasn’t stopped - It’s not fine. If you’re watching, please have a heart.”

Five Seconds of Summer are bringing their Sounds Good Feels Good World Tour to the UK on April 5 when they play Sheffield. The tour then continues with two dates at London's O2 Arena on April 7 and 8.

The band recently spoke about how homesick they are on their current tour.

UPDATE: Jason Derulo has since responded with a Tweet to @5SOS and @Calum5SOS simply saying: 'Check your DM's.'
