5 Seconds Of Summer are currently travelling the globe on their Sounds Live Feels Live tour and despite the fact that they are busy with playing high-octane live concerts, they are still finding time to write new songs.

Aussie drummer Ashton Irwin took to his official Twitter page earlier this morning and confessed that he and his bandmates are keeping fans very much in mind during this new writing process:

"We are writing music right now, we are expanding our minds. We are thinking about you guys."

Earlier in the week, Irwin told his followers that he was in the studio with Blink-182's Travis Barker and Goldfinger's John Feldmann, tweeting: "Writing new jams everyday now, new sounds, I'm loving it more then ever."
