'She Looks So Perfect' hitmakers 5 Seconds Of Summer will kick off the UK leg of their Sounds Live Feels Live tour on April 5 at the Sheffield Arena, but have still managed to find time to work on new tunes in the studio in the meantime. 

Drummer Ashton Irwin posted a few photographs to Twitter earlier today and told fans that they're writing new music on the road because they're feeling so inspired lately: 

"@Luke5SOS in the studio today, finishing up, we have some Bad Ass beats 4 U 2 Eat. Wrapping up some new jams here in the studio before SLFL kicks off in the UK.. Xx"

Irwin shared a video message with his followers this week about the upcoming UK SLFL jaunt and admitted that he and the rest of the 5SOS lads will give each show their "absolute best":

"Just wanted to say hello. It's a new day and I'm excited and I can't stop thinking about when the tour starts in Sheffield in a couple of days. If you're in the UK and you're watching, hi! If you're coming to a show, we can't wait to see you and we'll give you our absolute best."
