Ashton Irwin, the drummer from 5 Seconds Of Summer, recently went above and beyond for a fan who went to see his band live and ended up stranded in Cardiff overnight. 

The fan, whose name is Laura (pictured above), told her Twitter followers about the kind gesture in a series of tweets posted on April 16.

"I cannot believe that happened, I am eternally grateful. Ok, so I guess I can tweet about it now!!! I met ashton last night and he bought me a hotel room bc (sic) I was stranded. He's the most incredible person."

The fan, named Laura, explained that she didn't take a photograph with the heartthrob but she was incredibly grateful for the kind gesture (but she did get to take a few photographs with Michael Clifford): "I am honestly so grateful. We didn't get picture bc it really wasn't the situation."

5SOS, meanwhile, have a handful of gigs left in the UK on their Sounds Live Feels Live tour and they will perform their first gig in mainland Europe on May 12 in Vienna, Austria.
