5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin has admitted that he is feeling homesick.

The band are currently on their Sounds Live Feels Live tour in Europe.

However, it seems Irwin is missing his homeland of Australia.

He posted on Twitter today (June 7): "Excited to touch down in Australia, feels like forever!!! Xx."

5 Seconds of Summer will continue to tour Europe until mid June before they take a break.

The quintet will then hit the road in North America for a slew of summer shows.

The band are scheduled to perform in Australia later this year.
