5 Seconds of Summer join 'handful of Aussies' who have headlined Madison Square Garden

A new article written for News.com.au has revealed that 5 Seconds of Summer have joined the exclusive ranks of huge Australian music acts who have managed to sell out Madison Square Garden in New York.

The editorial explains that being a headlining act at the legendary venue is a "significant achievement for this young band, with the Bee Gees, Silverchair and Keith Urban also among the handful of Aussies who have graced the hallowed stage."

On July 16, 5SOS's drummer Ashton Irwin told his followers that reaching these heights has been incredible: "Somehow we made it to Madison Square Garden and we have you to thank. Thanks for being a part of the ups, the downs and everything in between. X"

The band recently unveiled their new song 'Girls Talk Boys', which features on the 'Ghostbusters' soundtrack, and they have offered fans the chance to unlock the accompanying music video. All you need to do to unlock the visual content is log into Spotify and share the track. Once the counter, which is currently on 57%, hits 100% the video will drop. Click here to get involved now.
