5 Seconds of Summer have praised their fans for making their latest tour one of the most "amazing experiences" they've ever had.

The group have just rounded off the North American leg of their Sounds Live Feels Live world tour.

It seems to have given drummer Ashton Irwin cause for reflection, with the musician speaking in a Twitter video:

"You guys made this tour the most amazing experience of our lives.

"We can't wait to see you again real soon."

Next up for 5 Seconds of Summer meanwhile is a show at Monterrey's Auditorio Banamex on September 21.
