5 Seconds of Summer have reached the top of the Pop Songs airplay chart. 

The Aussie band are sitting pretty at the No. 1 spot with Youngblood having received 17804 spins. They have knocked Khalid & Normani's Love Lies off the top spot to No. 2 after over a week at No. 1.

2018 has been a great year for the band as they are the only band recognised for reaching the No. 1 spot in the Billboard 200 with their first three albums.

Back in May this year 5 Seconds of Summer were the only band in history to enter Billboard 200 at No. 1 with their first two albums.

Now the Aussie superstars have beaten this by becoming the only band to have their first three albums enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1

Their latest and third album,Youngblood, was released this year on June 15 via One Mode/Capitol Records and went straight in at No. 1 the week after, with 142,000 album-equivalent units (117,000 in pure album sales).

The band's second studio album, Sounds Good Feels Good, was released in October 2015, and debuted at No. 1 in the Billboard 200 with 192,000 album-equivalent units (179,000 in pure album sales).
