Season to date, “GMA” (3.387 million) is ranking as the No. 1 morning newscast in Total Viewers for the 9th year in a row. In fact, “GMA” is increasing its advantage over “Today” (3.283 million) from the same point last season (+30% – 104,000 vs. 80,000) to its largest in 4 years—since the 2016-2017 season. In addition, “GMA” is cutting its season margin with “Today” in Adults 25-54 (-7% – 87,000 vs. 94,000) to its closest performance in 6 years—since the 2014-2015 season. During the week, “GMA” (3.037 million, 735,000 and 492,000, respectively) beat “CBS This Morning” (2.459 million, 508,000 and 346,000, respectively) in Total Viewers (+578,000), Adults 25-54 (+227,000) and Adults 18-49 (+146,000). “GMA3: What You Need to Know” “GMA3: What You Need to Know” improved week to week in Total Viewers (+6% – 1.519 million vs. 1.430 million), Women 25-54 (+16% – 238,000 vs. 205,000) and Women 18-49 (+17% – 169,000 vs. 145,000). “GMA3: What You Need to Know” posted gains year to year in Total Viewers (+10% – 1.519 million vs. 1.465 million), Women 25-54 (+2% – 238,000 vs. 233,000) and Women 18-49 (+4% – 169,000 vs. 169,000).
