“This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (628,000) on Sunday, Dec. 19, 2021, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research, beating both CBS’ “Face the Nation” and NBC’s “Meet the Press” for the 5th week in a row.

In addition, “This Week” beat NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers.

“This Week” posted increases from the previous week in Total Viewers (+10 – 2.583 million vs. 2.347 million) and Adults 25-54 (+34% – 628,000 vs. 470,000).

Season to date, “This Week” is ranking No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (558,000), leading CBS’ “Face the Nation” (530,000) and NBC’s “Meet the Press” (516,000). In fact, “This Week” is taking the top spot in the key Adult news demo for the first time in 6 years — since the 2015-2016 season.

“This Week” is leading NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (2.631 million vs. 2.575 million) season to date for the first time in 7 years — since the 2014-2015 season.

ABC News’ “This Week with George Stephanopoulos” ranked No. 1 in Adults 25-54 (558,000) during the 4th quarter of 2021, based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. “This Week” beat CBS’ “Face the Nation” (530,000) and NBC’s “Meet the Press” (516,000) to mark its first 4th quarter victory in 6 years – since 4Q15.

In addition, “This Week” scored its largest news demo win (+42,000) over “Meet the Press” during a 4th quarter in 7 years and biggest during any quarter in over 6 years — since 4Q14 and 3Q15, respectively.

“This Week” posted its largest margin over NBC’s “Meet the Press” in Total Viewers (+56,000 – 2.631 million vs. 2.575 million) during a quarter in over 6 years and during a 4th quarter in 7 years – since 2Q15 and 4Q14, respectively.
