Mystery Jets Record Session For Eagle3 At ACM

Indie rock band Mystery Jets paid a visit to ACM last Thursday (January 14th 2016) to record a session for Eagle3 Radio ahead of the release of their fifth studio album.

Mystery Jets CropThe Eel Pie Island band had their new record Curve of the Earth mastered at Metropolis Studios, ACM’s sister company, by mastering engineer John Davis.

With the band recording a piece for Eagle3, first-year student Max Smith got the opportunity to help resident engineer Abel Quintana in the session.

“I’ve been listening to the Mystery Jets since I was about 13 so I thought it was a great opportunity”

Curve of the Earth is the fifth major release from Mystery Jets, who formed in 2003 and are best known for their track ‘Two Doors Down’ from their second album Twenty One.
