Adam Levine confirms exciting guest vocalist for Maroon 5's new album

Maroon 5 have been in the studio working on a brand new record, which is titled 'V', and frontman Adam Levine has now confirmed that it will feature a special guest vocalist.

When asked by Ryan Seacrest for KIIS-FM if it's true that Gwen Stefani is going to feature on his band's new record, Levine replied: “How do you know everything already? I wanted it to be a surprise, but she is.”

The 'Payphone' heartthrob went onto add that this full-length offering, which is due to be released in September, is the most exciting one his band has ever worked on: “It’s my favorite one that we’ve ever done. Here’s the deal, I’m so excited about this album. Mostly because I think that what we always do with every record… it’s kind of everything we’ve ever done as a band musically."

"It’s kind of all of those things on this album. It’s what we used to sound like, it’s what we sound like now, it’s what we want to sound like tomorrow. It’s all those elements all combined to make one, I think, really great album. It’s more of an album… It’s a better listen than ever. I like it, but I made it, so."
