Adam Levine reveals the best thing about being famous

Maroon 5 superstar Adam Levine has revealed that he loves being famous because he doesn't have to do his own chores anymore.

Speaking to America's GQ magazine, the 'Payphone' heartthrob explained that the attention and the money aren't what excite him because he is more interested in the fact that he no longer has to do his own washing:

"You know what the greatest thing about what's happened to me is? I don't have to do my own laundry. I'd always think to myself, I can't wait for the time when I don't have to do laundry anymore. I've worked hard but I've also had a lot of wonderful things happen to me. I haven't been dealt a hard hand."

Levine went onto add that he always wanted to be a well-known musician so actually living that dream is wonderful: "I wanted to become a successful musician. It wasn't like now, when kids are like, 'I want to be a famous sl*t. Or whatever I can possibly be famous for.' I wanted to be a famous musician."

The superstar, meanwhile, is due to marry his fiancée Behati Prinsloo soon and recently admitted that he asked her father's permission before proposing to her: "I did ask his permission. I don't want to talk about it, you know how I am; but yes, of course I did. I had to. And it was extremely nerve-racking."
