Adam Levine credits 'The Voice' with reviving his career

Heartthrob Adam Levine has admitted that signing up to judge on the panel of the televised talent show 'The Voice' helped to revive both his and his band's career.

Maroon 5 have enjoyed a successful run lately with the release of 'Payphone' and their new album, 'Overexposed', and Levine told Parade magazine that he credits his on-screen role for the resurgence of popularity:

"We had a reintroduction to the world through the show. It's been great!!"

He took to social networking site Twitter on July 30 and told his 2.8 million followers that he's been on the set of 'American Horror Story', on which he is guest-starring: "Shooting A.H.S. It's C.A.F. (Creepy As F*CK)"

The programme's creator, Ryan Murphy, shared a photo of Levine from the shoot (July 31) and added the caption: "AHS exclusive: Two of our stars who started shooting today - - the multi-talented @adamlevine and Bloody Face!"
