Maroon 5's sexy frontman has appeared in an upcoming episode of 'American Horror Story' and the trailer for it has now appeared online.

He plays a character named Leo in an episode entitled 'Welcome To Briarcliff', which sees him whisk his new wife away on a haunted honeymoon trip before things turn nasty.

In the preview, Levine can be seen seducing his female co-star, but they are swiftly interrupted and spooked by a strange noise. The show's creator Ryan Murphy, who also created 'Glee' spoke about the 'Payphone' singer's involvement and praised his enthusiasm for the acting role:

"I pitched him the part and he listened slack jawed and simply said, ‘I’m in.’"

The episode that Levine stars in is set to premiere on October 17 and he will also make his big-screen debut in the forthcoming movie, 'Can A Song Save Your Life?', alongside Keira Knightley next year.
