Adam Levine: "I'm a fan of marriage"

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine has opened up about his hope to get married in the future.

In an interview for Oprah's Next Chapter, Levine spoke about how he has been inspired by his fellow The Voice judge Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert.

The 'Moves Like Jagger' singer said: "Hearing Blake talk about [marriage], it's great. I'm a fan of marriage. People think that I keep pooh-poohing marriage, but I love it."

He went on to state: "I want to probably be married at some point."

Adam Levine’s previous girlfriends have included models Behati Prinsloo and Anne Vyalitsyna. He is now in a relationship with Danish model Nina Agdal.

However The Voice judge will not be rushing into wedlock any time soon as he is waiting for the right time. Levine explained: "I don't feel pressure to get married. I think that when it's time, it's going to be obvious and I'm going to do it and I'm going to really enjoy it."

Adam Levine’s enthusiasm for marriage comes just months after he voiced scepticism about the validity of matrimony. Back in April he argued: "If you don't get married, you can't get divorced. Why couldn't we learn from the devastatingly low percentage of successful marriages that our last generation went through?"
